Our busy Government Health Law team is currently seeking:
a lawyer with 2-3 years PQE in defendant person injury, ideally medical negligence litigation and coronial investigations/ inquests, however this is not essential. To thrive in this role you will have:
At least two year's post-admission experience in litigated defendant personal injury, ideally focused on medical negligence, however this is not essential. Experience in advising on liability, apportionment and quantum issues in civil personal injury claims. Ideally, experience representing health agencies and/or individual health practitioners in coronial investigations and inquests. An ability to analyse complex medico-legal issues, assess risks and formulate legal solutions. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A demonstrated ability to manage a busy workload while also being responsive to clients' needs. Accuracy and high attention to detail. A "can-do" attitude, a strong work ethic and an enthusiasm for contributing to our firm's special culture. Working with us:
