What you'll do
Join our Respiratory and Immunology medical team where we have established brands as well as multiple targets in our groundbreaking pipeline. Our team's vision is to be leaders & valued partners in R&I science and clinical practice supporting peoples' health. We deliver this value through medical excellence, being patient focused and improving patients' lives. We are confident we can change the practice of medicine and redefine respiratory and immunology treatment.
As Medical Manager for R&I in Australia you are the scientific, clinical and therapy area expert responsible for providing medical and scientific leadership for AstraZeneca's development portfolio and in-market brands. Responsible for developing and managing the execution of the medical strategic plan and engaging in scientific exchange with experts, including Healthcare Professionals and other external stakeholders consistent with medical objectives.
This is a full time, permanent role based from Sydney.
Essential for the role Current experience as an MSL, Senior MSL or Medical Manager from within the pharmaceutical industryBachelors degree or higher in relevant health/science fieldCurious, strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial creative problem-solving approach and strong project management skills.An agile mindset and ability work across multiple projects or portfoliosDemonstrated ability to get things done and strong sense of urgency.Strong, clear communicator with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, internally within a matrix environment and externallyStrong working understanding of the Medicines of Australia Code of ConductWhy AstraZeneca?
