We are looking for a driven medical liaison representative to join our team and help deliver growth to Queensland Radiology Specialists by promoting our services within a defined area of local referrers (GPs, specialists, and allied health practitioners). Your focus will be to develop brand and service awareness and assist us in building strong relationships with new and existing referrers while communicating with internal stakeholders.
The position offers flexible hours working over 3-4 days per week covering Southeast Queensland.
Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Targeting, prioritizing, developing, and fostering strong relationships with referrers, including GPs, specialists, and allied health practitioners. Developing sales plans in conjunction with the Business Operations Manager. Regular reporting to management on sales activities and associated results. Ordering and dispersing literature and referral pads. Executing the marketing strategy. Updating the Website, Instagram, and Facebook, providing an active social media presence. Effectively communicating and engaging with all key stakeholders including radiologists, HODs, and the Business Operations Manager. Providing feedback to the business on all information received from the market. Maintaining a thorough understanding of technology systems relating to our service, and promoting access to these as appropriate. Essential attributes:
Previous health/sales/marketing experience. Proven high standards of communication – written and verbal. Proven relationship builder and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to referring practitioners. Demonstrated experience of a minimum of 3 years in actively engaging with healthcare professionals, including GPs and specialty care physicians. Highly motivated and well-organized with an ability to work as part of a cohesive team. Confident with using technology. Drivers Licence. To be successful in this role, you will have a:
Qualification in Health Science, Business, Sales, or Medical Terminology is desirable but not essential. Understanding of marketing principles. Strong experience in Medical Sales and business development. A master's degree in business administration is highly regarded. Proficient computer literacy in applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and CRM tools (Dynamics). Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Demonstrated experience building business and achieving sales targets. Current Open Driver's licence. Relevant industry background within a healthcare setting. Recent graduate or industry background is desirable but not essential. Previous experience working in medical sales is advantageous.
