Icon Group is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Medical Liaison Officer (MLO) to join our team.
As an MLO, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our business and enhancing patient care across our network.

The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Lead Business Development Manager VIC/TAS, the MLO will collaborate closely with the Hobart Site Manager to implement strategic plans aimed at fostering sustainable growth for Icon and its practitioners.
You will be instrumental in executing and reporting on site, doctor, and portfolio strategies to achieve business development objectives.
This is a hybrid role, so you will also be responsible for the organisation and coordination of the multidisciplinary meetings held from our Hobart site.

This is a permanent full-time position, operating across the Hobart region with occasional travel to other parts of the State.

Key Responsibilities:
Territory Management: Act as the primary point of contact for healthcare professionals regarding radiation oncology products and services.
Contribute to strategic and operational plans, execute targeted growth strategies, and monitor market trends to optimise referrals and stakeholder satisfaction.
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong connections with key stakeholders including specialists, healthcare providers, and referrers through collaborative initiatives and educational programs.
MDM Management: Provide administrative facilitation to Icon Cancer Centre's MDM meetings in Hobart, including preparing, organising and circulating lists of patients for discussion, and ensuring MDMs run as smoothly as possible.
This includes the use of video conference and IT equipment as necessary, the location and retrieval of case notes and diagnostic information.
Marketing and Communications: Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and participate in PR activities to enhance Icon's market presence.

Selection Criteria:
Qualifications: Current open driver's license.
Skills and Experience: Proven success in business growth strategies, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and experience in healthcare or related fields preferred.
Desired Attributes:
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, or a Health-related discipline.
Familiarity with Cancer Care Continuum and relevant healthcare regulations.
