The Opportunity   Our Medical Law team acts for clients who have suffered catastrophic back injuries, cosmetic injuries, birth injuries, delayed diagnosis of illness and children with cerebral palsy.
We're seeking a Medical-Legal Consultant on a permanent basis in our Brisbane CBD office.
You'll listen to our clients' story and build an understanding of their unique situation, so we can achieve the best possible outcome for them.

With compassion, connection and purpose, you'll truly champion our clients by: Conducting initial client interviews, while building a trusting relationship.
Working closely with our Medical Law team members to ensure we are delivering excellent client care.
Partnering with our contact centre team to identify new opportunities and manage enquiries to resolution.
Initiating and nurturing robust, quality relationships with clients and assisting them to gain access to local support.
Proactively manage post-interview activities, such as drafting medical chronologies and supporting legal documentation.
What you'll bring   To thrive in this role, you'll have: Progression towards or completed qualifications in Biomedical Science and/or Laws is preferred, but not essential for success.
A working knowledge of medical terminology, medical guidelines, practices and protocols.
Tenacity for complex problem-solving, and a natural curiosity to listen to clients to determine the right pathway to assistance.
Demonstrated phone-based, customer service experience for clients who have experienced varying degrees of trauma.
Either the ability to work full-time, or the the ability to work at least two or three days per week, to facilitate a job share arrangement for the right, two successful candidates.
