Medical Imaging Technologists (Radiographers) Applications are open for Medical Imaging Technologists to join Royal Perth Hospital's Radiology Department.
Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) is Perth's inner city, tertiary adult hospital and part of the Royal Perth Bentley Group (RPBG). Home to the State Major Adult Trauma Service, RPH offers tertiary-level emergency medicine, mental health, complex and elective surgical care, and specialist medical services. It is also a premier teaching hospital and contributes to innovation and excellence in medical research and patient care.
RPH Radiology Department, the largest and longest established tertiary public hospital Radiology department in Perth, is linked with the other tertiary hospitals via a sophisticated archiving and communications system with full digital picture capacity.
The service is divided into sub-specialised teams based on general and neurological intervention, ultrasound, abdominal and body, musculoskeletal, women's imaging and neuroradiology. A 24-hour inpatient / Emergency Department service is also provided.
Imaging studies undertaken at RPH include Computed Topography (CT), Ultrasound, X-Ray, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Mammography and Interventional Procedures.
About the Job: Our Medical Imaging Technologists work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive Medical Imaging services to our patients. They facilitate and promote patient safety and quality of care, in line with our values. Medical Imaging Technologists practice as per the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia Code of Conduct, the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia Registration Standards and EMHS policies and guidelines.
Successful applicants will become part of a 24/7 service.
