Part-time, permanent contract 64 hours per fortnight Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.
NHW is seeking a Medical Imaging Technologist to provide professional and efficient imaging services to patients and clients of NHW.
We are seeking someone who is team focused and interested in pursuing opportunities to diversify and enhance their skills in a regional public health setting.
This position is suitable for Medical Imaging Technologists who have graduated recently or will be completing their studies at the end of 2024.
A pathway exists for reclassification to grade 2 upon the successful completion of clinical competencies, and commencement of rotation in the on-call and after-hours roster.
The role is open to both internal and external applicants.
The successful applicant will be required to participate in a rotating shift roster, on-call, evening and weekend work.
NHW offers flexible shift arrangements to facilitate a work-life balance.
Clinical experience in CT, MRI or mammography is highly desirable but not essential.
Our department offers general X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, fluoroscopy, dental imaging, intraoperative theatre imaging, bone mineral densitometry, interventional procedures and regional outreach imaging.
Applicants will be paid in accordance with the Victorian Public Sector Allied Health Professionals, Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2021-2026, or their successors.
Classification: Grade 1 - AF5 - AF9 Our region: Wangaratta has a population of approximately 30,000 and our catchment serves a community of around 100 000 throughout the northeast.
