This maximum-term role (until May 2025) will be based at our South Brisbane campus.
To provide administrative support to the Medical Education Unit (MEU) for the coordination and efficient functioning of all Medical Education programs and activities.
Administration support includes, but is not limited to:
To provide administration support to the MEU for the formal education programs for Medical Officers (Interns, Junior House Officers, Senior House Officers, Critical Care Senior House Officers)To provide support with administration functions relating to orientation programs for Medical Officers (Interns, Junior House Officers, Senior House Officers, Critical Care Senior House Officers, Registrars, Principal House Officers, Fellows, and some Senior Medical Officers).
This includes managing relationships with external sponsors.To coordinate, review and provide Intern Completion Certificates in collaboration with the Medical Education Officers and Director Clinical Training prior to forwarding to AHPRATo prepare meeting agendas and minutes in collaboration with Director Medical Education and WorkforceTo provide high quality and confidential (where required) administrative support to the Director of Clinical Training (DCT), Director Medical Education and Workforce and Medical Education Officers (MEOs)Work within Mater systems to track, monitor and ensure compliance with due process for Education session attendance, feedback, and planning.Support MEU with all reporting functions for accreditation requirements.Provide customer service and support to Junior Medical officers; manage and distribute MEU generic email and phone line.Prepare and provide letters of rotation, and evidence of satisfactory work performance to junior medical officers.Act as formal secretariat to Medical Education Committee meetingsAbout you To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
