Proclinical is recruiting for a dedicated Director of Rare Diseases.
This role focuses on developing and executing a comprehensive medical affairs plan, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and supporting patient access strategies.
This is a remote position based anywhere in Germany.
Responsibilities: Create and put in place the DACH medical affairs plan.
Work closely alongside healthcare professionals.
Attend local scientific meetings and engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs).
Contribute in scientific advice meetings.
Collaborate on dossier strategy development and preparation.
Contribute to the DACH-specific Patient Access Strategy Plan.
Key Skills and Requirements: Medical degree with additional qualifications in pharmaceutical or healthcare management preferred.
Experience in medical affairs within biotech or pharma, particularly in rare disease therapy.
Knowledge of DACH healthcare systems and German AMNOG reimbursement pathway.
Ability to work in a cross-functional, international team environment.
Strong relationship-building skills within rare disease communities.
Creative and innovative approach to market development.
Excellent communication skills in German and English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel as required.
