This strategic leadership position is instrumental in overseeing and guiding mental health care within our hospital, working closely with executive and clinical teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
About the Role:
Lead Mental Health Initiatives: Play a pivotal role in shaping the direction and growth of mental health programs at Toronto Private Hospital, driving innovation and best practices.
Champion Clinical Excellence: Be a guiding force for the hospital's clinical teams, ensuring high standards of care and continuous improvement across all mental health services.
Recruitment of Future Talent: Actively participate in the recruitment of new psychiatrists to support the ongoing expansion of our mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership: Collaborate with the hospital's executive and clinical management team, overseeing mental health services and ensuring high standards of care.
Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with the Toronto Private Hospital Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) Chair, executive team, and Aurora Healthcare's clinical and executive team to align strategic priorities and maintain clinical excellence.
Specialty Directorship: In accordance with Aurora By-Laws, you will have the opportunity to be appointed to this leadership role, allowing you to shape and influence the future of mental health programs at Toronto Private Hospital.
