People First in Mount VernonLocal Team Collaboration: We take pride in our well-established team of 20 physicians and two daytime APPs at Skagit Valley Hospital.Work alongside our team of clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds dedicated to improving health and wellness in Washington.Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure a smooth transition of care.Qualifications: A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution is required.Board certification in internal or family medicine and a minimum of 2 years of hospitalist leadership experience are mandatory.An active medical license in Washington or eligibility for licensure is required.Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.Practice in the Heart of the CommunityFlexible Scheduling: Enjoy a schedule that includes seven monthly clinical shifts, with dedicated administrative time to focus on leadership responsibilities.Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate comprehensive medical care and post-operative care to a 137-bed facility, including an open ICU with subspecialty backup.Work with internal and family medicine residents as primary teaching faculty for their inpatient rotations.Provide clinical oversight and foster a family-like environment within a blended, collaborative team.Procedures are not mandatory for our team.
