Medical Director

Upper Mountains Medical Centre has recently relocated their established centre to a state-of-the-art health hub and we're looking for a full-time GP and a Medical Director to partner with the team. The centre is located in Katoomba, in the heart of the world heritage listed Blue Mountains and is a 90 minute drive from Sydney CBD.
The established community centre has a large patient base and relocated into a purpose-built health hub in May 2024. The new centre extends the healthcare services we can provide the local community and features 16 doctor consult rooms, 3 skin rooms, 2 procedure rooms, a 4-bed treatment room, onsite pathology and allied health services.
The mixed billing centre has ample parking and is open Monday – Friday. Our doctor team enjoy a great work-life balance with flexible arrangements and high billing potential. Our doctors are supported by experienced nurses and administrative staff who will help build your practice. Our collegial team of staff, nurses and doctors have lived and worked in the area for up to 25 years and take pride in providing healthcare to the local community.
Upper Mountains Medical Centre's patient base is very diverse and our doctors have a broad scope of practice, with varied case presentations. Our team care for people of all ages and most doctors have long relationships with patients and provide continuity of care.
DPA approved location Medical Director Role We're seeking a Medical Director who will drive positive change and make a significant impact on the health and well-being of the greater Katoomba community. Responsibilities include:
Facilitating doctor meetings and centre relationships Promoting and cultivating IPN's culture of medical leadership Ensuring strong clinical governance Supporting new GPs that join the practice and assist them to build their practice Supervising International Medical Graduates (IMGs) Delivering exceptional medical services If you possess the qualifications, vision, and dedication to excel in this role, please contact Megan Field for more information.
