Medical Credentialing Officer

Your role at St John of God Murdoch Hospital
You will provide medical credentialing administrative support to the Director Medical Services and coordinate the accreditation, re-accreditation, and associated administrative processes for medical, nurse practitioners, and complementary health therapists using e-credentialing.
The Position

Coordinates the accreditation, re-accreditation, and associated administrative processes for medical, nurse practitioners, and complementary health therapists using e-credentialing.
Liaises with other SJGHC sites regarding credentialing of medical practitioners who are already credentialed at SJGMH and required credentialing at other sites, and/or medical practitioners at other sites who require credentialing at SJGMH.
Attends to incoming correspondence and undertakes follow-up action as required in regard to extensions and/or additions to scope of practice.
Monitors and updates medical practitioners' scope of practice and related data on the Doctors' database, WebPAS, e-credentialing, and CRM.
Acts as the facility administrator for BloodSTAR.
Provides material necessary for presentation to the Medical Advisory Committee and/or Scope of Practice Committee to enable members to make informed decisions on matters before them.
Maintains all records and filing systems relating to accreditation and reaccreditation.
Maintains records of accredited practitioners' mandatory training, compliance, and accreditation in accordance with requirements.
Liaises with the Quality and Risk department in relation to departmental meeting attendance for accredited medical practitioners.
Generates reports in WebPAS to provide meaningful inter-departmental information across the Hospital, as required.

You will have experience in working with the credentialing of Senior Medical Practitioners in a busy hospital environment.
To succeed, you will be customer-focused with the ability to use your own initiative and be able to organize and prioritize clerical tasks with minimal supervision, as well as possess strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to be flexible and work as part of a team.

Salary: $79,823 to $81,406, plus 11.5% superannuation.
Permanent Full-time position.
