About the Role
MLER Case Manager is responsible for medical entitlement reviews to determine appropriateness of medical and like entitlements, engage workers & providers, complete decision process & draft outcome notices. Coordinate and facilitate case conferencing and team review with IMA's and Technical Manager's to develop case management action plans.
Required Expertise
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Experience in medical entitlement reviews
Strong working knowledge of Workplace Injury Rehabilitation & Compensation Act 2013 and associated Regulations, and/or a Legal Qualification
Outstanding customer service skills.
Decision making, negotiation and influencing skills
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work with different IT applications
Manage all claims in portfolio ensuring timely response and appropriate treatment
Cease benefits as appropriate
Ensure file notations are made consistently as required
