Medical Administrator/Receptionist

Based in Orange, Bloomfield Medical Group & Bloomfield Specialist Group are home to a group of General Practitioners as well as Specialists who work closely with the administration team on a day-to-day basis.
Our doctors are both permanent and visiting and we cater to each of them in their respective field.
We are seeking an experienced receptionist/administrator who will predominantly be the first point of call for our patients and handle the administration workload.
We are potentially looking for one (full-time) star applicant to join the ever-growing team.
On average, you will work a 38-hour week between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Flexibility is a must.
Training & support will be provided as well as a work uniform.

Preferred – experience within the Medical sector Preferred – experience with GP's and/or Specialists OR within the Public or Private Hospital system Preferred – experience with Medical administration Preferred – flexibility to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm Willingness to learn Willingness to be a part of a team who work together Responsibilities and Duties: Open / Close of rooms Incoming and outgoing phone calls Emails Faxing Scanning Cater to all doctors' requests Front of house reception Post/Banking Billing of patients Uploading results Uploading referrals End of day banking/reconciliation Confirming appointments Booking appointments Corresponding with doctors, hospitals, patients, peers and management Medicare batching Using multiple software programs Attendance to staff meetings/performance reviews If you are someone who loves to help people, please apply for this role.
