Medical Administrator

Empire Group is representing a specialised health care practice, who are seeking someone to join their team on a full-time basis!
A typical day sees you answering phone calls, patient check in and out, billing, preparing paperwork, liaising with patients and providing support to medical officers and clinicians.
Within this position you will:
Provide a high level of support across reception and administration.
Schedule appointments for patients and manage diary for your specialist/s.
Manage payments and claims (Medicare, Health Funds & DVA).
Ensure patient records are kept up to date.
Liaise with your specialists' preferred hospital to book appointments and prepare quotes.

Requirements for this position:
Minimum 1 year working in a medical administration role.
Best Practice experience is desirable.
Experience with health funds and DVA claims is desirable.
Attention to detail, honesty, and a positive attitude are a must.
Experience with Microsoft 365 products including SharePoint.
Billing experience.
Experience in mental health services is desirable.
