We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our client's team at a busy practice in Varsity Lakes.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
Location: Gold Coast Varsity Lakes Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Duration: Approx.
3 weeks with option for extension and permanency Pay Rate: from $35 per hour About the role In this role, you will be essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.
Responsibilities include managing patient interactions, appointments, and medical records within the Total Care Equipose suite.
Your responsibilities as a medical receptionisy will include but not limited to: Greet patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using medical practice management software.
Register new patients and update existing patient records.
Verify and manage patient information, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Prepare and manage medical documents, such as referrals and test results.
Address patient inquiries and resolve issues or complaints in a professional manner.
Coordinate with medical staff and departments to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Other duties as required.
About You We are seeking candidates who possess: Previous experience in a medical reception or administrative role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Familiarity with medical practice management software, preferably Total Care Equipose Knowledge of billing processes, including insurance claims and coding.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise in a busy environment.
A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Proficiency in MS Office and general office equipment.
Must have full working rights in Australia.
