Medical Administration and Reception at Morphe Surgical Practice We are looking for an organised and skilful medical administrative individual! If you have worked as a personal assistant or receptionist in a medical/surgical practice and are looking for a positive office culture with positive patient outcomes, we can't wait to hear from you! We are an innovative surgical practice providing complete care for patients undergoing surgical and non-surgical weight loss options including dietetics, psychology, exercise physiology and Bariatric GP care. We also provide a wide range of Upper Gastrointestinal and General Surgeries.

Above award rates Beautiful patients who are engaged to improve their health and wellbeing Supportive and kind team with a positive office environment Full-time contract with rostered hours - 30 - 32 hours a week (flexible) Applicant should be able to: Ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for patients Be a professional individual with a high level of understanding of confidentiality Enjoy working in a unique team environment with surgeons, doctors, and allied health, all working towards a common goal for patients Manage medical and allied health practitioner appointments, calendars and recall lists Attention to detail with data entry and medical record keeping Possess high-level language skills, particularly over email correspondence Liaise with other healthcare professionals Provide general secretarial duties including scanning, e-faxing letters, and sending letters Work with Clinic to Cloud medical software; this is an advantage but not essential Manage enquiries from patients and other healthcare professionals Manage patient referrals Create Fee Estimates using practice templates Accurately invoice, receipt and reconcile patient payments, accounts, and invoicing To succeed in this role you will: Have a genuine interest in helping people Be well presented Have a soft and warm manner and be a team player Possess excellent verbal, telephone and computer skills (previous experience with medical software Clinic to Cloud highly preferable) Have previous experience in a surgical practice/medical practice/or other healthcare setting in a reception or personal assistant role (minimum 2 years) Have strong skills and understanding in one or more of the following: Medicare/HiCaps/Allied Health/Private Health Care/Hospital Bookings/Theatre Lists Be reliable Have the ability to work as part of a busy and cohesive team and at the same time work independently National Police Clearance is mandatory First Aid is desirable. Information for applications: The successful applicants will be scheduled to work full-time with rostered hours. One Saturday bi-monthly.
