Job DescriptionThe purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of tasks within the Media Services Department.
The primary responsibility is to service the replay requirements of productions taking place in the studios.
Additionally, it is responsible for servicing the record and export needs of both internal and external departments.
This role is crucial in completing all scheduled jobs to a technically accurate level, ensuring the highest quality output.
Day to day you will be responsible for:
The smooth running of area and completion of all bookingsError free ingests and records.
Adapting to varied and complex program formats.The knowledge of all relevant equipment and the willingness to assist internal & external clients to complete their bookingsMaintaining technically accurate records, replays, archive and playoutsAssisting in the principal goal of maintaining the continuity and quality of Nine's transmissionDealing with pressure, prioritising and performing duties with minimum delayEnsuring and encouraging a free flow of information across the department and inter departmentsSetting up and operating various broadcast equipment including EVSQualificationsWhat we would like to see on your resume: Knowledge of television production and transmission principlesKnowledge of precision instruments to measure vision and audio parametersTechnical adaptabilityUnderstanding of codecs, processes and systems involved in ingesting and recording materialComputer skills on relevant software applications e.g.
