We strengthen regional and rural economies by supporting job creation, diversification, and infrastructure development, collaborating closely with local communities to address their unique needs.About the role:In this role you will:Demonstrate good time management skills demonstrating high proficiency in managing your own time.Liaise with and develop strong, positive relationships with a range of stakeholders including media, government, industry and community stakeholders, and organisations.Work with internal client areas to identify and develop proactive mainstream and social media opportunities and provide media advice as needed.Write and edit quality content for:publications and other communication materialonline and digital content including for social mediaspeeches, media releases, briefing notes, correspondence.Ability to work quickly under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrate a positive, collaborative attitude, and a high level of accountability.Ability to work flexible hours which may involve work outside of normal business hours.Other duties as directed and required.This position requires:Good communication and interpersonal skills.While not mandatory, a degree qualification in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field would be highly regarded.It is highly desirable that the successful applicant has a minimum of 3 years' experience in media relations or communications.Why join us?We are committed to being a workplace that focuses on people.
