Media, Marketing & Communications CoordinatorJob SummaryThe Victorian Pride Centre is a landmark hub for LGBTIQA+ communities, fostering connection, visibility, and advocacy. As a vibrant community space in St Kilda, the Pride Centre is home to numerous LGBTIQ+ organisations, events, and initiatives.
About the RoleWe're looking for a creative, dynamic, and detail-oriented Media, Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our team. This is your chance to make an impact by raising the profile of the Pride Centre, growing our audience, and supporting key campaigns and events. You'll work closely with our Marketing, Communications & Fundraising Manager to create content, manage our website, run social media channels, and develop marketing materials that engage and inspire.
Key ResponsibilitiesDigital Marketing: Plan, create, and manage content for our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and email campaigns (Mailchimp).Content Creation: Write and edit engaging copy for newsletters, blogs, and website updates.Website Management: Keep the Victorian Pride Centre website updated with fresh content, news, and event listings.Marketing Materials: Develop digital and print materials, including brochures, posters, and branded templates.Community Engagement: Represent the Centre at community events, manage PR activities, and support relationships with partner organisations.Data & Reporting: Use Google Analytics and other tools to track the effectiveness of campaigns, providing reports and insights for future planning.About YouYou're a natural storyteller, passionate about LGBTIQA+ communities and excited about media, marketing, and communications. You thrive on juggling multiple projects, are highly organised, and have an eye for detail. If you love creating content that stands out and engages audiences, this role is for you.
