In this key position, you'll manage all aspects of internal and external communications, including media relations, branding, marketing, and social media. Your responsibilities will include developing strategies that reflect Miwatj Health's vision, producing engaging content, and overseeing the Miwatj website and social media platforms. You'll manage media inquiries, ensure timely responses, and create various publications, including newsletters, policy documents, and our Annual Report. With a Head Office in Nhulunbuy, Miwatj also manages a Corporate Office in Darwin, 7 fixed clinics across the East Arnhem region.Essential RequirementsTo be considered for the Media, Marketing and Communications Officer role, candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination, along with an understanding of the challenges faced by Yolngu people in remote areas. Tertiary qualifications in media, communications, journalism, marketing, or digital marketing are essential, along with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are required to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders. Candidates should have experience in graphic design and desktop publishing, the ability to handle sensitive information independently, and a proven track record in project management.
