Reporting to the Media and Communications Manager, you will support the Media and Communications function to drive successful media outcomes for campaigns and programs.
Key duties Support the implementation of media and communication strategies to enhance the organisation's profile.Coordinate media engagement activities, including press releases, media briefings, and responses to inquiries.Develop engaging content for various channels, including social media, newsletters, and website updates.Monitor media coverage and provide timely reports on campaign performance.Assist in managing relationships with key media contacts and stakeholders.SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a demonstrated ability to tailor content for diverse audiences.Experience in media monitoring, reporting, and working with media representatives.Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.A proactive and collaborative approach to work, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.You will also have or be willing to undergo a Working with Children Check and a Police Check.
