Media And Content Officer, Agriculture And Fisheries

As our Media and Content Officer, you will:• Drive, inspire and implement creative social media campaigns that bring the department's key messages to digital and other audiences;• Maintain key internal relationships as part of an integrated Media and Content team and provide key strategic digital advertising and marketing advice;• Suggest, write and edit compelling content that promotes the work of the department on its various social media and other channels including newsletters;• Explore new channels and stay up to date with the latest media and social media trends to continuously improve how we communicate and engage our stakeholders;• Support the department's paid social media campaigns and help to manage a vital and dynamic relationship with the key Queensland Government advertising agency to ensure campaigns are effective and run on time and on budget every time;• Generate reports on media/social media/digital coverage of specific issues or business areas as requested, and share insights with your communication and engagement colleagues and stakeholders;• Be a champion of proper processes, accountability, record-keeping and audit processes to ensure paid advertising campaigns produce value for money for Queenslanders;• When required, contribute to other work within the media and content unit, including the preparation of media content; and• Participate in the weekend on-call media roster and the media clips roster.
