This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.Future Generation Joint Venture on behalf of SC Hydro Pty Ltd is currently recruiting for Mobile Plant Mechanical Fitters/MSV (Multi Service Vehicle) Fitters on the Snowy 2.0 Project in the Snowy Monaro region.
The project is working a 14:7 roster, 12 hour shifts which may include days/nights rotating.The successful candidate will:Have underground experienceAssist in maintaining a fleet of 19 MSVs across the project.Strong experience on Metalliance models VMS70, VMS15 & TSP70.Strong experience on Techni-Metal Systemes models TMS30 & TMS35.High level of understanding of hydraulic and electrical circuits and fault-finding skillsExperience in mechanical maintenance of mobile plant, i.e.
underground machinery, heavy earthmoving equipment, etc.Mechanical maintenance of Sandvik and CAT Drill Rig experience would be highly consideredReading and working on Hydraulic Schematic drawings, Pneumatic Systems, Lubrication SystemsMonitor sensors, grease, oil and other ancillary systemsCompetent in fault findingResponsible for identifying any and all mechanical safety and technical hazards and notifying the appropriate persons accordinglyAbility to perform daily safety and maintenance checks as well as extraordinary maintenance over the above listed equipment.Required to familiarize themselves with the approved emergency procedures, contingency plans, communication procedures and rescue plansLiaising with the rest of the Plant & Equipment Team for planning of ongoing and future worksProvide support to production team, for trouble shooting and preventative maintenanceYou must currently hold the following tickets/licences:Mechanical Trade CertificateDrivers licence - HR preferableHigh risk work licence - Forklift, EWP, DG - preferableWorking at HeightsConfined SpaceGeneral Construction Induction training (white card)Right to work in AustraliaBe able to pass medical and a criminal history checkThese positions are in remote challenging areas with extreme cold temperatures which need to be considered before applying for these roles.If you meet the above requirements and would like to work on this iconic project, please apply now.#J-18808-Ljbffr
