Reliable Conveyor Belt is seeking applications from fully qualified Mechanical Tradespersons who have experience with conveyor systems and are willing to work away for extended periods.
These roles are located at our Parkes & Gunnedah Branches. These are Permanent Full-Time roles per week with a competitive Salary package including:
Choice of roster: 4 x 10 hr roster or 5 x 8 hr rosterAlso on offer: Weekly Overtime availablePaid TravelSalary sacrificing availableService recognition rewardsJob StabilityAutonomous RoleReporting to the Branch Manager as a key and valued member of the Operations team, you will work on customer sites, including but not limited to mining, quarry, smelting and power generation.
Part of your role will include: Completing day to day maintenance activities including fault finding onsite and in the workshop. The ability to read drawings is essential.Ensure plant and equipment is fit for purpose undertaking any minor repairs and maintenance.Diagnose condition and faults on mechanical equipment.Belt Cleaner installation, assembly, and adjustments.Skirt Maintenance - overhauling as required.Focus on Pulley replacements.Assist and work with Belt Splicers.Assembly of Pulley Shafts, Shells and associated components.Mechanical fitting as required including strip and assessment.Liaise with clients.Direct, mentor, and lead a team.Inspections and audits.We are seeking applicants with the following attributes: Conveyor Belt System experience essential.Ability to read drawings.Excellent diagnostic and repair skills.Ability to work unsupervised.Keen to work overtime.Hold relevant trade qualifications and tickets.Able to pass an Order 43 Pre-employment Medical and Heavy Functional.Enjoys working in a team environment.Commitment to the highest WHSE standards.Great attitude and positive.Please include a current CV in your application and list any tickets you may hold.
