That's what #LifeAtCummins is all about.We are looking for a talented Mechanical Technician to join our highly skilled team in our Perth Master Rebuild Centre.Great opportunity for a light motor vehicle mechanic to make the transition into the heavy diesel sector, or for a heavy diesel technician to enhance their skill set.In this role, you will specialize in rebuilding our high-horsepower engines.
Work on 19ltr to 78ltr (600 – 3500Bhp) industry-leading engines in a world-class facility!
Enjoy the benefit of working with state-of-the-art ergonomic equipment and tooling that provides an efficient and safe environment.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Remanufacture the highest quality, High Horsepower Diesel Engines for our Mining customersWork as part of a highly skilled team to deliver 'As New' reconditioned engines using high-tech equipmentBe supported by a state-of-the-art 'Electronic Process Documentation System.'Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues/incidents to the Production ManagerComplete required documentation, such as Safety Check Sheets, Process Quality Checks, Daily Time SheetsBuild on your career with our Cummins World Class engine training at our dedicated training facilityBe part of a team that values and promotes continuous improvementTo be successful in this role, you will need the following:Open to all qualified trade mechanicsDemonstrated experience in engine assembly – heavy equipment is highly desirableAbility to consistently generate high-quality workThe ability to follow documented procedures and enjoy working in a structured team-orientated environmentCompensation and BenefitsFlexible roster options - 9 day fortnight, or 4 days week.
