Our extensive distribution network can get truck tyres to almost anywhere in Queensland and the Northern Territory.Direct Wholesale Tyres is seeking experienced Mechanical Technicians to perform a variety of functions on light/heavy performance vehicles.The role includes but is not limited to:Perform regular scheduled maintenance service on a range of vehicle or equipmentRepairing and replacing worn and defective parts, and reassembling mechanical components referring to service manuals as neededDevelop and implement mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdownsTroubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions and breakdownsTesting and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performanceComplete and maintain service and inspection documentations ensuring its complianceMay inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthinessMay respond to vehicle or equipment breakdown service callsMaintain a tidy work environment and adhering to health and safety regulations.To be considered for this role, you must have:Strong mechanical knowledge on a wide variety of vehicle and equipmentStrong knowledge of mechanics, electrical, and electronic systems and tyre technologyMechanical Technician trade qualification or equivalentAbility to work well both independently and in a team environmentBe physically fitStrong communication skillsStrong diagnostic abilities and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated, organised, punctual and reliableClient-focused mentalityMust have great work ethicsIf you meet the above criteria and would like to be considered for this position, please apply now!Salary: Between $70,000 and $75,000 per annum + SuperJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
