Job Description
AESTEC Services is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mechanical Technician who has an exceptional reputation to join our team.
Reporting to the Mobile Equipment Supervisor, you will support up to 300 pieces of equipment across our portfolio at various sites and locations.
Local work in the Gladstone region.
Permanent, full-time ongoing work, Monday to Friday, plus occasional overtime available.

Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, repairs, and reconditioning works on all types of earthmoving, Heavy Diesel, Plant & Equipment machinery and Engines at various locations and sites.
Provide outstanding customer service by ensuring our site managers and supervisors are kept well informed of all matters in relation to job progress and costs.
Ensure repairs are carried out using the appropriate control guidelines to ensure that rework does not occur.
Determine reusability of all disassembled parts.
Submit accurate service reports, timecards, parts request sheets, and parts quotes.
About You
Relevant Trade qualifications and demonstrated service and repair experience on Mobile & Plant Equipment.
Industry experience repairing and maintaining earthmoving, construction, quarrying, maritime port, and agricultural equipment will be highly regarded.
Well-developed communication and customer service skills.
The ability to work autonomously and as a team as required.
Demonstrated and proven ability with desktop computers and devices.
Experience on various Diagnostic Systems.
Commitment to a high level of workplace health and safety.
Your ability to work under pressure during peak periods is essential.
Salary: Between $70,000 and $75,000 per annum + Super
