Fixify Services is a locally owned and operated company in Karratha, specializing in forklifts, high/low vehicles, and Airport's Ground Support Equipment (GSE). We service and repair forklifts and vehicles, and also offer forklift hire.Responsibilities:Test and repair diesel, petrol, and gas engines and the mechanical parts of forklifts and vehicles, including transmissions, suspensions, steering, brakes, and ground support equipment.Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts.Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, and check parts.Repair and replace worn and defective parts, reassemble mechanical components, and refer to service manuals as needed.Select required tools and equipment to repair and replace defective mechanical components as per the service manual.Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups for forklifts and mechanical components.Test and adjust mechanical parts after repairs for proper performance.Diagnose and test parts with the assistance of computers and prepare diagrams in line with service manuals.Check, repair, and replace hydraulic parts of forklifts.Skills and Experience Required:Relevant trade certificate or at least 3 years full-time relevant employment experience as a mechanical technician.Experience with diagnosing, testing, and repairing various types of mechanical components, including hydraulic parts and forklifts.Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical components and tools.Ability to interpret mechanical diagrams and drawings.Understanding data and analysis to diagnose faults and testing.Sound knowledge of interpreting service manuals.Good communication and time management skills.Strong team collaboration and customer service skills.Ability to select tools and equipment and maintain a safe workshop environment.Please apply or contact Fixify Services at 0431558409 to make an appointment with the Service Manager.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years of experience do you have as a Mechanical Technician?Which of the following forklift licenses do you have?Have you worked in a role that requires fault-finding experience?Do you have customer service experience?Do you hold a Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)?Do you have a current Australian driver's license?Do you have a current Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment?
