Mechanical Technician - Generators

DGA Power Anytime are recruiting suitably qualified persons with Mechanical experience to join our team.
Electrical experience is an advantage.
Full Time positions are now available based in Mornington Tasmania with travel statewide.
DGA Power Anytime is a dynamic business that services Tasmania Statewide. DGA sells, rents & maintains generators.
You will also be at the forefront of BESS and Hybrid Generators installation and maintenance.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation of Generator Power Systems to Government, Commercial, and Residential Customers.
What you will be doing: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on generators and associated equipment. Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Maintain detailed maintenance and repair documentation. Work with customers and stakeholders to coordinate emergency and planned maintenance and repairs. Are you the right person? Have formal qualifications in Mechanical and/or Electrical Trades. Have a background in maintaining and repairing mechanical/electrical equipment. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service skills and effective communication. Have a flexible approach to work. Be proactive and able to respond to emergency callouts. What we are offering: Base hourly rate between $35 & $45 per hour based on experience. Superannuation and penalty rates apply.
