About the role
Reporting to the Supervisor - Mechanical Maintenance, you will be responsible for the safe and effective execution of all required maintenance activities to optimise the availability of the Ernest Henry Concentrator and associated infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring the safe completion of all required tasks, in line with the Concentrator's safety KPIs Assisting with the supervision and training of apprentices Hosting contractors and visitors for shutdowns and small projects Operating as a competent CMMS user, able to search equipment/components, raise requisitions, and complete work orders to a high standard Writing and updating Job Safety and Environmental Analyses (JSEAs) Performing shift fitter duties independently and effectively through in-depth plant knowledge About you
To be successful in this role, you will possess a relevant trade certificate - Fitter and the ability to plan and execute non-routine work independently. Holding a high risk work licence for forklift and rigging will be advantageous. With strong communication skills and excellent observation and problem-solving abilities, you will also demonstrate mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity to competently fault-find and rectify equipment issues in the fixed plant.
