Join our Ravensworth team as a Leading Hand Plant Mechanic and showcase your mechanical and technical expertise.
In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of tradespeople, driving performance and fostering a safety-first culture throughout the workshop.
This is your chance to specialise in Caterpillar 797F Mining Trucks, performing critical maintenance, repairs, and inspections on our customers' impressive fleet.
A Leading Hand position with WesTrac is an excellent pathway to future leadership, technical support or field service positions.
Roster & Remuneration Monday - Thursday, day shift only.Hourly Rate: $61+ Overtime Rate: $91+Annual earnings starting from $152,000+Site based incentives, earn up to an additional $11,000*Rates above are a guide only and each candidate will be assessed based on competencies and experience within role.
Skills & Experience As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills:
Proven experience in a similar roleComponent removal and installation desirableMachine rebuild experience on large mining equipment highly regardedWorking at heights or willing to completeMDG25 or willing to completeFamiliarity with Caterpillar EquipmentDemonstrated strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong commitment to meeting customer requirementsExcellent diagnostic and repair skillsGlencore generic induction preferred but not essentialAbility to complete an Order 43 Coal Board medicalWhy Join WesTrac?
