This role will be instrumental in the construction of a Desalinisation Plant project based in Alkimos.
The Project The Alkimos SeaWater Alliance project will deliver WA's next major water source - A new seawater desalination plant at Alkimos.
At completion of stage 1 the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year.
Key accountabilities for the position: Managing the daily mechanical running, operation, and maintenance of the TBM and associated mechanical equipmentOrganising and planning work for future mechanical operations.
Managing planned maintenance for all mechanical equipment on siteCarrying out daily plant inspections, complete and submit maintenance/breakdown reportsSupervising and providing support to Mechanics on shift in regard to troubleshooting and preventative maintenanceAlways enforcing site safetyRequired Skills and Competencies Extensive experience in civil or tunnelling construction (5 years).Minimum 5 years' experience working on TBM projectsProven ability to operate in a dynamic environment meeting significant program challenges.Experience in Safety, Community and Environmental ManagementIn-depth knowledge of TBMs and associated tunnel related equipmentAbility to drive performance, lead and manage teamsWhat we offer At ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
