As part of our Aftermarkets team, the role will provide supervision of field personnel on site and provision of technical support to Sandvik Rock Processing customers, identifying and analysing equipment condition as well as providing recommendations & solutions to limit the exposure to extended unplanned downtime.
Specifically, you will: Undertake supervision of Sandvik employees and hourly hire contract personnel for mine site & associated work at both customers' sites and within workshopsPerform OEM mechanical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on vibrating screens in our customers CHPP's and mine sitesBe accountable for the safe execution of all work conducted at customers sites/ our workshops ensuring compliance to Sandvik and customers OH&S management systemsWork with customer maintenance personnel to plan the execution of maintenance works associated with our equipment based on feedback and recommendations found through equipment inspections and reporting to generate further service works and parts salesBased in the Newcastle NSW or Rockhampton QLD area although travel to and from customer sites locally is required on a regular basis and occasionally over weekends or interstateOversee the mobilisation and demobilisation processes to ensure breakdown readiness and compliance of equipment and assetsTo be successful in the above duties, you will have: Previous experience with external customersProven ability to understand, interpret technical customer needsIn return, we offer you: 4 day working rosterPremium allowance on eligible hoursRetention based site allowance frameworkSales incentive agreementsAnnualised salary plus SuperannuationPaid travel, accommodation, and mealsFully maintained tool of trade vehicleAdditionally, we provide: OEM training and specialised equipment trainingPurpose built service trucks with all tooling requiredDedicated scheduler/co-ordinatorDirect and simple reporting structureOpportunity to travel interstateWho can apply: This role is open to Australian and New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents, and candidates who hold or can obtain a valid working visa for the specified term.
