Reports To CONSTRUCTION MANAGER Role Summary To provide management and oversight for the Mechanical Scope of Works, including but not limited to:
Coordinating employees, subcontractors, material and equipment. Ensuring that SOPs and specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding with high quality. Safety standards are maintained at all times. Projects are being delivered on schedule and within budget. It is anticipated that this position would be responsible for managing Team Leaders and Teams from 2 to 10 people throughout the Mechanical Construction Process.
Key Responsibilities Planning daily crew activities for individual tasks and personnel performance management. Co-ordination within Team, Management and clients to ensure works are undertaken in a safe and efficient manner, there is accurate reporting of completed tasks, and external partners are managed. Allocating personnel to crews to undertake the Mechanical Scope and associated activities. Allocating correct tooling, plant, and equipment to work crews to ensure that each crew is resourced correctly. Ensuring that all Tools, Plant & Equipment remain maintained and 90% of Plant and Equipment is always operational. Monitor and assess work crew daily progress and action changes as required to ensure that the construction program is maintained. Working both individually and with the management team to problem solve constraints. Always ensure safe work practices and follow all HSE recommendations. Skills & Competencies Previous Experience in construction/site management, preferably in Renewable Energy Work. A "Will Do" Attitude. Ability to lead a high-performance team with aggressive project timelines and goals. Comprehensive understanding of Construction Processes required within the Piling Scope of works. Strong Work Ethic and time management skills. Strong People and Leadership skills and the ability to communicate with clarity to the Team. Driver's Licence Required. Working Environment Extensive airline and automobile travel required. Requirement to be physically fit and able to work in a field-based environment.
