About the Business Catalyst Metals owns and operates the Plutonic Gold Mine in the Eastern Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The Company produces 110koz of gold annually from two operations – the Plutonic Gold Mine in WA & the Henty Gold Mine in Australia. It also holds the Four Eagles Gold Project in Bendigo.
The Company plans to bring four new mining areas at Plutonic into production over the next 12 to 18 months, growing Group production to 200koz of gold.

The Role Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent – Fixed Plant, in this role you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance of all Fixed Plant equipment as directed within the Site Processing Plant Work management and CMMS (PRONTO)
The ideal candidate will have:
Australian recognised Engineering Trade Certificate - Mechanical, Fitting & Machining, or Fabrication Trades desired.Minimum 5 Years' experience in similar role.High-Risk Licence with Basic rigging, Forklift & Franna (preferred).Confined space and Working at heightsDemonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic experience on fixed plant equipment.Carry out routine inspections of machinery and fixed plant including preventative measures and condition reporting.Experience in Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.Review the draft schedule of work and liaise with the maintenance plannerManage backlog and all work execution; Identify new work; Organise shift and breakdown labourSupervising the Surface mechanical team in completing tasks as allocated through the maintenance schedules and providing technical support as required for problem solving issuesDetailed notes on the actual task completed and recorded on the Work Order.Maintain close liaison with processing personnel to ensure maintenance activity is coordinated efficientlyCommunicate the business objectives with team members to support their engagement and to focus all activity on agreed outcomesSafety & Environment Actively promote a safety culture on siteReview and signing off on SOP'S / JHA'S and ensure risks are identified, mitigated and that safety standards are met.
