Mechanical-Structural Drafter

Peter Ellsmore & Associates is a Wollongong based engineering and drafting consultancy that provides services to a variety of clients in the industrial, mining and construction industries across the Illawarra region and beyond.
An opportunity exists to join our design team supporting our clients from one of our Illawarra offices.
The position can include both Capital projects and ongoing plant support.
To succeed in this position, you will need to demonstrate:
Significant experience with Inventor 3D modelling and production of drawings is essential, ideally including Vault.Excellent knowledge of mechanical, structural and heavy plate work design.Able to prepare drawings & contribute to the design of:General heavy industrial equipmentSteel processing linesMechanical & materials handling equipment, including but not limited to conveyors, hopper, chutes, material transfer systemsSteel structuresPlant LayoutsDesign experience associated with steel production, iron ore, coal, or other related industries.Minimum 5-10 years relevant industry experience.Ability to work with direction and supervision from engineer.Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards.This position is offered to current Australian residents as a permanent or contract role with opportunities for Employee Share Ownership and a great working environment.
