About this Opportunity
This role will be responsible for the design, tender, installation & commission of process and mechanical equipment, providing mechanical support for continuous improvement according to the capital development plan.
You will accurately define or solve complex Mechanical/Process engineering problems as well as working closely with senior engineer & automation teams to clarify technical requirements to resolve issues. Identify and solve mechanical, process, electrical or automation problems for existing and new facilities along with implement and manage continuous improvement modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.
You must have a strong focus on safety and accuracy. You will need a proactive and positive attitude; be able to build collaborative relationships with your team and stakeholders, both internal and external to the business. You will take pride and be committed to delivering high quality work at all times.
Ideally you will have:

Tertiary qualification in Process, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
Post graduate project management qualifications (desirable)
Experience working on complex CAPEX and Continuous Improvement Projects from concept to commission
Computer Aided Design – AutoCAD-2D
Computer Aided Design – AutoCAD/Solidworks-3D (desirable)
