About the role We are looking for a  Maintainer Mechanical  to join our team at Tom Price to maintain Utilities equipment by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
?You'll be part of a high performing team, supported by your leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team.
You'll work a family and lifestyle friendly 8 days off, 6 days off roster.
Reporting to the Supervisor Maintenance you will be responsible for the below: Ensure compliance with maintenance standards to maintain high quality and actively work towards increasing equipment reliability and availability Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing safety while reducing risk and cost Complete preventative and corrective maintenance for all equipment Conduct routine inspections of fixed plant assets and determine repair actions when required Isolate equipment for maintenance and operational tasks Arrange for suitable equipment and materials to be available and ensure appropriate allocation of resources to achieve planned outcomes Report indications of problems with Utilities assets as well as team practices and procedures Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned correctly, and completed to the relevant standard/specification Collaborate closely with other functions and stakeholders in the performance of duties What you'll bring A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team? Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset? Utilities operational experience in potable water, wastewater and hydrocarbon systems? Basic understanding of SAP maintenance systems or similar? A Current 'C' Class Driver's License (Manual)? HR Driver's License? Mechanical or Plumbing trade qualification ? Cert III in Water Operations? – desirable but not essential Chlorine training? – desirable but not essential High Risk Work Licenses – CV, LF, WP,  and DG / RI preferred? – desirable but not essential If you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn't align 100%, we still want to hear from you.
