Mining - Engineering & Maintenance (Mining, Resources & Energy) Position: Full time

Gold Fields Australia is currently seeking a Leading Hand: Mechanical (Fixed) to join their Engineering Maintenance department at St Ives Gold Mine.
Role Overview: Reporting to the Coordinator: Mechanical (Fixed), you will be responsible for the effective execution and supervision of mechanical maintenance related issues on site to enable achievement of budgeted production targets, meeting all quality standards including cost, safety, and environment.
This role can be offered as residential in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie on a 9 days on, 5 days off roster. Bus transportation is offered to and from site for residential candidates, and relocation assistance will be offered to the successful candidate if required.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established safety and production standards. Assist in the development and implementation of new maintenance procedures and processes. Maintain good working relationships with external companies to ensure minimal disruption to production. Reinforce Vital Behaviours to promote a safe work culture. About You: Recognised Trade qualification and/or Supervisory qualification Proven experience in a mineral processing environment Minimum of 5 years post-trade experience Knowledge of relevant statutory obligations Supervisory/Management training is desirable Sound understanding of Fixed Plant Equipment including Mills, conveyors, and mill pumps.
