Looking for experienced Mechanical Insulators and Technical Labourers to join our team in Victoria.
This position involves insulating mechanical systems, such as pipes and ducts, in industrial and commercial facilities.
Requirements: Previous experience in mechanical insulation is required.Knowledge of various insulation materials, including fiberglass, foam, and mineral wool.Familiarity with installation techniques and tools, such as insulation knives, shears, and saws.Ability to work in diverse environments, including confined spaces and elevated areas.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards.Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.Valid certification in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and First Aid/CPR.Responsibilities: Install various types of insulation on mechanical systems such as pipes, ducts, and tanks to control and maintain temperatures.Measure and cut insulation to appropriate sizes, ensuring a secure and precise fit.Apply protective coatings or covers over insulation to enhance durability and safety.Conduct inspections of existing insulation and perform necessary repairs or replacements.Collaborate with other team members and contractors to meet project goals and timelines.Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant building codes and standards.If you are interested in this position, please send your resume to ******.
