We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Mechanical Fitter/Technician to join our small close-knit team in Port Hedland to forge a rewarding and secure career with a reputable company.
You will be responsible for our Workshop Operations which includes specialised equipment service/repair activities, Mine Site Test/Tag/Calibration activities with our specialised mobile Van, and the proactive planning and coordination of workshop activities with relevant Branch personnel. Your challenges will be to produce work of a high-quality standard capable of satisfying the requirements of our extensive client base. You will be based at our Port Hedland branch and on occasions will be required to work at Customer sites across the Pilbara to support our ongoing Asset Management Activities. This role is a "Drive in Drive out" (DIDO) role, which will ideally suit a candidate residing permanently in Port Hedland. Working hours are normally based around a Monday to Friday 5-day week, unless work commitments demand the occasional weekend work to be carried out consistent with Customer needs.
