SESA provides a portfolio of On and Offshore Service and Manufacturing solutions so clients can meet their goals.The Role:Supervise the mechanical team and mechanical apprentice as they perform scheduled and unscheduled service and repairs on snubbing units and associated equipment packages, along with tongs, slips, diaphragm pump packages, bar clamps, centrifugal pumps, mud pumps, power packs, trucks, trailers, forklifts, etc.Supervise and assist the mechanical team with the service of equipment when they are in the yard and prepare each for deployment; and while located offshore.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the mechanical workshop.Prioritise, plan, prepare for maintenance and repair of equipment including coordinating purchase of parts.Mentor, guide and supervise mechanical team as they carry out the day-to-day duties required of their role.Oversee and assist with the performance of maintenance on all equipment according to Maintenance Sheets.Assemble of new construction of equipment and components.Perform maintenance on diesel engines when required.Responsible for the documentation and uploading of maintenance procedures and test procedures.Coordinate and monitor rig up equipment for testing after servicing and ensure testing are complete.Oversee and ensure the update of equipment maintenance records.Carry out various maintenance requests at the SESA facility and offshore.Assist field supervisors in troubleshooting equipment problems and deploy technicians, if necessary.Perform visual and mechanical inspections on the fleet of trucks, trailers, forklifts, overhead cranes, and any other equipment obtained for transporting equipment.Arrange for purchases of replacement parts and/or services when request submitted by mechanical team.Inspect all assembly parts, winches, lifting devices, hydraulic hoses, and report any defective material or questionable component conditions.Provide assistance to Field Operations on projects, both onshore and offshore as required.Train Field Short Service Employees (SSE's) on proper maintenance procedures.Observe and follow all company safety rules and policies.Preform basic housekeeping of work stations.Skills and Experience:High School diploma or equivalent.Previous Oilfield experience.Knowledge and undertaking of the Operation for 150K, 225K, 340K, 460K and 600K HWO Units.Experienced in forklift operation.Water Survival and Basic Firefighting.Knowledge of and ability to read and comprehend equipment certification and test charts.Behavior Based Safety Systemand Risk Assessments.Advanced knowledge of Well Control Equipment including BOP's, Mud Pumps, High Pressure Piping & Choke Manifolds.Capable of using different machines and tools; understanding their design and specific uses.Qualified to diagnose and solve general problematic mechanical issues.Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, i.e. Diesel mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics.Ability to operate a forklift, jib crane, overhead crane, and man lift.Capable of working at heights.Firefighting and spill containment.Able to multitask.As a company that values diversity as a source of talent, we work to foster an inclusive environment that promotes respect, belonging and engagement so that all people can participate on an equal opportunity basis.
