Mechanical Fitters: We are seeking skilled Mechanical Fitters to join our team. The successful candidates will be involved in shutdown work, maintenance, and installations, based at our client's industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Local work and opportunities to work away.
Responsibilities: Assemble and install mechanical systems and equipment according to specificationsPerform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and equipmentTroubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issuesRead and interpret technical drawings and schematicsCollaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budgetMaintain a safe and clean work environmentKeep accurate records of work performedQualifications and Essential Criteria: Highest commitment to maintain a safe work environmentDisplay initiative and have the ability to work autonomously & as part of a teamShow commitment to high-quality workmanship and customer serviceBe able to work onsite at Boyne Smelter Limited, and or QAL, RTAY, QMAGHave the ability to pass a pre-employment medical (Blue/Yellow Medipass and coal board)Ability to attend and complete client site inductions and site compliance trainingAccess to lifestyle discounts (movies, gym, golf) and an Employee Recognition Program.
