Mechanical FittersOur client based in Gympie is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a site-based project.
This will be a 4-6 weeks (possibly longer) assignment to help with the completion of plant installation at a mine siteMonday – Thursday – 6.00am to 5.00pmFridays – 6.00am to 4.00pmAccommodation provided$60.00 per hour flat rate11 hour daysThere will also be requirements for ongoing monthly shutdown work !

!The RoleAbility to read and interpret drawingsInstall pump sets into fabricated structuresPipe and tube installationAssemble new systems, pipe/ tube/ hose Installation of, fittings, flanges to detailed specifications provided, flushing of linesAssembly of pre-assembled skid units, fabricated frames, small tanksDocument management, ITP, SWI, JSEA and material check listsRole RequirementsTrade qualification – Mechanical FitterWhite cardFull Australian Working RightsWorking at Heights (preferred)EWP (preferred)To be considered for this role you must be an either an Australian Citizen, have residential status or the right to work in Australia.
