About your new role: Our crew cannot wait to show you the ropes at our brand new, spacious workshop in Yandina. We have multiple opportunities available.
You'll join our Plant workshop team where you'll have access to two 5-ton gantry cranes, scissor lifts, a forklift, a machine shop and a brand-new wash bay.
To set you up for success, you'll receive on occasions comprehensive training based out of Geebung Plant workshop.
Day to day will see you pulling apart and refurbishing hydraulic cylinders, hoses, and mechanical parts on plant equipment to support the safe delivery of Energy Queensland's vision of creating Electric life and energising communities.
You'll be required to attend to unscheduled services, breakdowns, and after-hours response. After hour call outs will receive applicable overtime and on call allowances.

The remuneration for your new role is from $101,800 – $105,001 per annum + 12.75% superannuation (9-day fortnight) + on call allowance + overtime as applicable.
About you: You are experienced in the operation/maintenance of vehicle-based plant used in the electricity supply industry, specifically relating to heavy vehicles including MEWP, Crane Borers, VLC's and Vacuum extraction units.
You have demonstrated experience in fault finding, repair and maintenance of:
Hydraulic systems Mechanical fittings Automotive electrical systems Radio remote control systems. You hold a Trade Certificate in Mechanically related discipline e.g., Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Mechanic etc.
You hold Licences or have the ability to acquire:
HR class driver's licence High Risk licence for slewing mobile crane (C2) or the ability to acquire the licence High Risk licence for Mobile Elevated Work Platform (WP) or the ability to acquire the licence.
