The RoleThe successful person will be responsible for undertaking planned & reactive breakdown maintenance work across the Utilities area of the process plant.
Ideally, you will have experience with furnaces, steam systems, water treatment plants, and chemical processing.
Experience with sulphuric acid plants is highly desirable for this role.
About YouThis role would suit a driven Mechanical Fitter with previous experience working in a similar hydrometallurgical process plant who is looking for job security and keen to become a member of a hardworking and committed team.
You will also have:
Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (Essential)A current and valid manual Australian Driver's licence.Ideally, you will also have experience with:
Tanks and related agitators, positive displacement pumps, chemical pumps, centrifugal pumps, furnaces, conveying systems, and steam systems;Steam systems, water treatment plants, and chemical processing;Sulphuric acid plants is highly desirable for this role;Pipe fitting, flange management, actuated and manual valve installation;Supplied air breathing apparatus and chemical processing PPE;Working with and demonstrated compliance with work area permit systems;Troubleshooting and problem-solving.What We OfferWe offer a diverse range of roles across our multi-pit mining operations through to our complex and technically challenging hydrometallurgical process plant.
