Fitters, Turners & Machinists (Trades & Services) Full time Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver design, construct, maintenance, and facilities management services across the Southern Region of Sydney.
D4C is a consortium comprising of John Holland, Service Stream, and WSP.
D4C is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team. Your day-to-day activities include performing planned and reactive maintenance across our region.
You Must Have: An Australian Recognised Trade Certificate Australian Drivers Licence Must be physically fit Conditions: Rates per hour $49.73 Travel between north/south region will be required within the role, Vehicle supplied by D4C. Asset types requiring maintenance may include: Chemical dosing equipment experience Wastewater and water pumping stations and associated equipment Low pressure and vacuum systems Mixers, blower, gearboxes, skimmers, actuators, and valves As part of the Operations Maintenance team, your day-to-day activities include: Accountability to safely conduct role within D4C and Sydney Water's safety, compliance, and environmental policies Perform planned maintenance, ensuring compliance and safety of plant and equipment Responsive maintenance to equipment faults on shift Regular inspections, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement Fault finding and rectification, including reporting and record maintenance Installation and testing of new equipment General day-to-day maintenance activities Skills below will be looked on favourably: Pump maintenance Hydraulics and pneumatics Welding PRV experience Understanding and application of leading policies and procedures Troubleshoot/Fault finding experience Truck Licence Operational information: Permanent - full-time role Mon to Fri on day shift 7 am start Favourable hourly rate, plus shift penalties, allowances, and overtime Leave entitlements, RDO's, and benefits We need your skills and expertise to help Sydney Water deliver a $34 billion dollar program over the next 10 years to build, maintain and protect the future of our iconic water resources.
