About the role: Our South Australian business is thriving, and as such we are on the lookout for a motivated and team focussed Mechanical fitter (auto-electrician / diesel mechanic) to join our high performing team This role will operate, DIDO or FIFO from Adelaide to Whyalla . As a mechanical fitter at Orica, you will provide technical support and maintenance to all of Orica's fixed plant and mobile plant on Site. What you will be doing: General servicing of all mobile and fixed plant and machinery;• Schedule servicing, repairs, alterations and breakdown maintenance.• Assist the Territory and Site Managers to manage a maintenance plan for the equipment at their site(s);• Continually reassess risks associated with regional operation and maintenance processes taking appropriate corrective action as required;• Providing field support for clients by performing training, reviews and maintenance support on site;• Participate in safety programs and promote safe work practice.
